The Mavs’ championship rings. Texas sized bling.
Although the Dallas Mavericks didn’t start the season playing as if their defending a national title, their personalized championship rings are finally in.
The Dallas Mavericks won the 2010-11 NBA Championship, defeating the Miami Heat in six games. The first time in franchise history.
According to ESPN, the rings cost around $40,000 a piece, and given to Mavs players in a brief ceremony prior to their Wednesday night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Mavs’ owner Mark Cuban paid a total of $1.4 million for the rings for the 15 players and the entire coaching staff.
On one side the player’s name are engraved above the team logo with the player’s jersey number.
The team seen the ring for the first time tonight during pre game of their Minnesota Timberwolves match up.

Too many times we let our joy depend on others instead of on what God has done.
It looks like quiet a few teams are attempting to copy the formula that we used several years back with the Three J’s. Ego’s have to be equated with the teams that are assembled because when shots don’t fall, it changes attitudes. There is no way to foresee an issue like that unfortunately. Regardless of what kind of superstars you put on a team together,if the chemistry is bad or one of the players has difficulty playing on a high level platform, there will be an issue. It’s a physical competitiveness at its highest peak. The mental game must be at a even higher level though. Your players that didn’t go to college seem to lack here.

We too often look at things like its not going to happen to us and never consider ourselves. Most definitely I respect and hate to hear of the passing of anyone. My heart is touched!
